Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a diligent Call Taker to ensure service calls are captured accurately and handled with care. You will support both internal and external customers, manage level 1 calls, and coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely resolution.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Flexibility to work varying shifts is required to cover our dispatch operations in Itasca, IL.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organized and able to multitask.
• Successful completion of Call Taker New-Hire training and introductory period.
• Must be able to work wide variety of work shift/schedules with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Answer and enter all service calls timely and accurately into company systems.
• Provide the best possible customer service to internal and external customers.
• Handle level 1 call types.
• Assist dispatch team with outstanding service calls.
• Respond to routine customer inquiries via live call or Email.
• Follow through on special customer needs in a timely manner.
