Qualifications

• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
• Internal Candidates: Store/Facility teammates require minimum six months; Support Center teammates require minimum one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Greet customers prior to checking their order
• Check out customer’s purchases accurately
• Identify and know produce items and use produce codes
• Distinguish between Schnucks coupons and manufacturer coupons
• Process manufacturer coupons
• Collect correct amount due from customer and handle payments (cash, checks, debit/credit, EBT, WIC)
• Complete register records accurately
• Practice and maintain cash security
• Bag customer orders
• Change register receipt and coupon machine tapes
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
