Job summary

Jefferson Security Bank in Martinsburg, WV, is seeking a Teller to provide exceptional customer service and accurately process transactions. You will handle deposits, withdrawals and payments, promote bank products, and maintain cash control with strict confidentiality.

The role requires basic math, strong communication and attention to detail. Prior money-handling or cashier experience is preferred, and knowledge of banking regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Sales, cashier, or other money-handling experience desired.
• Knowledge of BSA and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and accurate teller transactions including deposits, loan payments, withdrawals and cash handling.
• Offer additional products and services such as cashier"s checks, money orders, credit card cash advances and safe deposit boxes entrance.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services and identify customer financial needs.
• Refer customers to other lines of business as appropriate and answer inquiries.
• Represent the Bank professionally and maintain positive relations with customers and coworkers.
• Promote bank products and services and adhere to bank policies and security standards.
• Maintain cash within policy limits and prepare daily teller cash balances and reports as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
