Job summary

The Children's Place in Rockaway, New Jersey seeks a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and initiatives. You will greet customers, share promotions, and provide fast, friendly service at the cash wrap while maintaining stock levels and adhering to safety standards.

You will also help with merchandise presentation, loss prevention procedures, and housekeeping to ensure a safe, inviting shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with urgency and prioritize service.
• Greet customers and provide appropriate level of service.
• Explain value and promotions while addressing out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Contribute to conversion through selling skills.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and educate on PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure size/style availability.
• Follow merchandise presentation and signage standards.
• Maintain a neat, organized stockroom and safe environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Protect company assets per Loss Prevention procedures.
• Report maintenance needs promptly to leadership.
• Support store goals with focused efforts and flexibility for stock processing.
