Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado seeks an Associate I, Retail Sales Cashier to warmly greet customers, process transactions, and ensure pricing accuracy at the POS. The role supports a well-stocked, organized sales floor and contributes to the mission by promoting the roundup initiative.

Strong cash handling, numerical accuracy, and excellent customer service are essential. Availability includes weekends, evenings, and holidays with potential overtime in a full-time setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of retail sales or cash handling experience is preferred.
• Must be accurate with numbers and US currency.

Responsibilities

• Verify till counts and ensure accurate cashier transactions.
• Drive the roundup initiative by engaging customers.
• Provide excellent customer service upholding company values.
• Assist customers with questions, concerns, and purchases.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and properly stocked POS.
• Ensure a safe, clean workplace for employees and customers.
• Cross-train in other departments and act as back-up as needed.
