Job summary

The 99 Store in Corona, CA is seeking a store associate to provide friendly, efficient customer service while helping with stocking, checkout, and merchandising. The role includes assisting customers and supporting daily store operations.

You will also assist with unloading shipments, pricing and displaying merchandise, and maintaining safety on the floor. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact in a friendly manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Proven ability to multi-task and meet shift goals.
• Ability to lift 1–5 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs when unloading boxes.
• Constant standing, bending and reaching with dexterity.
• Willingness to learn to use a baler and pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and/or Cashier
• Unload and sort merchandise on delivery arrival.
• Stock and display merchandise in line with merchandising standards.
• Follow merchandising guidelines and plan-o-grams.
• Ensure merchandise is accurately priced.
• Process and return to stock all go-backs.
• Repack merchandise for transfers to Distribution Center.
• Break down cardboard boxes and bale.
• Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Report illegal activity to Store Management.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Work independently with daily to-do list.
• Clean up spills, floors, shelves, displays, bathrooms, etc.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management or Supervisors.
