Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers, process transactions, and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced store. You will handle cash and payments accurately, assist shoppers with locating products, and support stocking and front-end duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of cashiering experience, excellent math and communication skills, and can work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior; ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and multi-task.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push carts up to 35 lbs.
• Excellent cash handling and numerical proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change; assist customers with information and resolving complaints.
• Follow front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, direct customers to product locations, and be aware of store events.
• Keep checkout areas clean and orderly and perform other related duties.
