Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Cashier to be the face of the store, processing transactions quickly and accurately while delivering friendly service. You will handle cash/credit payments and help customers locate products with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Typical duties include maintaining clean checkout areas, stocking as needed, and supporting the front-end team. Requirements include 1–2 years of cashiering and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior.
• Ability to operate front end equipment (registers, scanner, calculator).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and with a focus on service.
• Handle cash, credit/debit payments and provide change.
• Assist customers by locating products and answering questions.
• Maintain checkout areas, stock shelves and assist with front-end tasks.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction as part of the front-end team.
