The Personal Banker role at D.L. Evans Bank in Twin Falls, Idaho, provides frontline sales and service, welcoming customers and identifying financial needs.

The banker serves as a backup teller and supports loan processing, account openings, and daily banking operations. Responsibilities include presenting bank services, resolving customer questions, processing deposits and withdrawals, and referring clients to Investment Services and Mortgage Lending to help meet financial goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience, including cash handling, required.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures preferred.
• Able to operate related computer applications and business equipment (adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin/money counting machines, telephone, scanner, branch capture machine).
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.

Responsabilités

• Represents the Bank in a courteous and professional manner.
• Verifies transactions and monitors deposits, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintains security of the work area and cash handling.
• Resolves customer questions promptly.
• Keeps customer account information private.
• Directs calls and relays messages as appropriate.
• Maintains and updates account information and documentation.
• Presents and explains Bank services to customers and assists in meeting financial needs.
• Opens and closes accounts by collecting information and entering data.
• Gathers loan information and processes preliminary documentation for loans.
• Operates teller terminal and balances cash at end of day.
• Seeks opportunities to refer products and services for increased business.
• Enters loan information into approval systems.
• Assists in servicing loans (payments, payoffs, extensions, etc.).
• Explains loan approvals/denials clearly to customers.
• Coordinates loan closings and disclosures.
• Supports other area personnel as needed.
• Keeps management informed of activities and issues.
• Completes special projects.
