Horizon Farm Credit, ACA is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join our team. You may work in any available Horizon Farm Credit branch, with hours typically Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The position is eligible to work up to two days at home per month, reflecting a flexible, hybrid work approach. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling phone and email inquiries, processing service requests, and supporting Digital Banking.

Horizon Farm Credit is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join our team. Qualified candidate may work in any available Horizon Farm Credit branch. The hours of operations are typically Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position is eligible to work up to two days at home per month. Position Description

You'll be the first point of contact for customers, handling phone and email inquiries, processing service requests, and supporting digital banking users. You'll also assist with payment processing, account maintenance, and administrative tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. Areas of Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

• Customer Service

  Receives telephone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously. Assist callers with routine inquiries and requests. Ensures that existing and potential customers receive prompt, courteous service.

• Customer Success

  Takes ownership of customer inquiries and addresses them promptly. Serves as the first point of contact for new prospects matching them with the right team members.

• Accounting

  Process incoming phone payments. Process FastCash requests. Complete noncash forms as needed for internal adjustments and transfers to Finance.

• Administrative Duties

  Completes administrative duties to support the day-to-day operations of the association. Provides payoff quotes to customers as needed. Supports online inquiries and provide customer support for Digital Banking users. Performs system maintenance as needed.

Education & Experience

• Customer service experience preferred or training/experience in the banking or finance industry. Generally, 2 or more years of customer service or call center experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills.
• Moderate to thorough knowledge of computer software applications and proven self-starter.
• Ability to answer routine customer questions and concerns independently.
• General knowledge of clerical and administrative duties to support branch operations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects/assignments.
• Ability to initiate, organize and prioritize work and maintain confidentiality.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance is required.
• Ability to work branch hours of operation (typically Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
• Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The salary range for this position is $42,600 to $61,300 with a midpoint of $52,000. This range reflects current market compensation data and our commitment to competitive, equitable pay. The starting rate is based on the applicant's relevant experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Most new hires are offered a starting rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range, although placement elsewhere in the range may be appropriate based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
