Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to support sales initiatives and deliver exceptional customer service. The role acts as a liaison between sales, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and issue resolution at either Winnipeg, MB or Springfield, IL locations.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement in sales operations and customer care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with relevant experience in customer service or sales administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and CRM systems.
• Experience in a team-based environment with strong attention to detail and order processing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries regarding sales, orders, and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through interactive communication and problem-solving.
• Manage a high volume of inbound calls and ensure consistent telephone coverage.
• Process orders in accordance with quotes and customer purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Portal processing and other related e-commerce tasks.
• Address and resolve escalations, including order adjustments, credits, customer experience concerns, and quality issues.
