Elevance Health in Mason, OH is seeking a Customer Care Representative I to assist members with benefits, eligibility and claims. The role starts with on-site training and then blends virtual work with occasional in-person reporting as needed.
You will respond to inquiries by phone and email, document interactions in the system, and coordinate with teams to resolve issues promptly while upholding quality service.
This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work‑life integration, and ensures essential face‑to‑face onboarding and skill development.

The start date for this position is September 14th, 2026. Training will be on‑site from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for 16 weeks.
After training, the position will be virtual, but you may need to report to the office as needed by the department (IT issues, performance issues, etc). You will be assigned a permanent shift with a start time between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to the Mason, OH office.
The Customer Care Representative I is responsible for successfully completing the required basic training and for performing basic job functions with help from co‑workers, specialists, and managers on non‑basic issues. Must pass the appropriate pre‑employment test battery.
