Job summary

LHH is seeking a Customer Care Advocate to support participants, beneficiaries, union locals, and providers by answering questions about eligibility, benefits, and claims status. You will handle inquiries via phone or written communication and manage related administrative tasks.

Job description

The Customer Care Advocate provides support to participants, beneficiaries, union locals, and providers by answering questions about eligibility, benefits, and claims status. They handle inquiries via phone or written communication and manage administrative tasks related to health and welfare benefits.

Skill Requirements

Must-Have Requirements:

• Knowledge of Customer Service principles.
• Understanding of Eligibility, Benefits, and Claims Status processes.
• Ability to handle sensitive information like Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• Experience with managing administrative tasks related to Retirement Benefits and Health and Welfare Benefits.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in initiating and following up on Action Requests.
