Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail with numbers and written instructions.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling for clients with accuracy and confidentiality (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, etc.).
• Supports daily branch tasks to maintain integrity (ATM balancing, deposits, updates to lobby materials, etc.).
• Mitigates risk by safekeeping money and prompt transfer of funds.
• Interacts with clients, anticipates needs, and provides proactive solutions per service standards.
• Continuously deepens knowledge of Columbia Bank products and services.
• Discusses customer financial needs to offer appropriate products and services.
• Supports referral goals by identifying and referring products to the appropriate business partner.
