Job Title: Customer Advocate

You will be based in our Fletcher, NC location. The shift will start at 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm.

Your main tasks:

• Provide customer-facing support to the distribution center.
• Provide support to internal departments on customer-related questions or requests.
• Assist on projects delivering cost savings and efficiencies to the business. Support operations to advocate the scheduling and processing of assigned customer orders.
• Request freight quotes and expedited services from the transportation team. Coordinate with customer-specific carriers for collect customers.
• Create and provide ASNs using customer-specific web portals and software systems.
• Arrange carrier pick-up through carrier-specific web portals. Provide tracking and paperwork requests to customers.
• Resolve customer complaints and assigned action items.
• Be a process expert to provide additional support and guidance to production teammates.
• Manage reports for orders that have been processed but not invoiced. Assist with process documentation. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be able to demonstrate efficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be analytical, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be a team player, flexible, and motivated.
• Must be a positive contributing member to continuous improvement and change.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college or 2 years of similar work experience.
• This role will be in a warehouse environment; thus, non-climate-controlled warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
