Customer Accounts Manager
Hiring Range Minimum to Maximum: $13.50 - $14.25
This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.
Aaron’s Customer Account Managers drive the success of our stores by leading the customer accounts department with the primary goal of achieving company standards for collections and lease renewals. As a Customer Account Manager, you will strategically influence team performance to help our customers achieve their ownership goals and perform various job functions under the direction of the General Manager.

The Work
- Attain and maintain customers’ accounts, including updating customer information and documenting payment appointments
- Assist the General Manager with operational functions such as account recommendations, payment frequency, and payment history monitoring
- Serve as second in command to the General Manager
- Build authentic customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales
- Manage collections by counseling customers for lease/merchandise renewals
- Review and close lease agreements, including verifying identification, collecting payments, and obtaining signatures
- Follow up with customers who have not renewed agreements
- Maintain contact with customers via phone and home visits
- Update and ensure accuracy of customer information
- Lead the accounts staff to meet department goals
- Clean and certify merchandise in the cleaning station
- Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets
- Load, secure, and protect products in the company vehicle
- Operate company vehicle safely
- Assist the Sales Team as needed
- Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements
- At least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license and compliance with the Driver Qualification Policy; Canada candidates must be at least 18
- Meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states
- Ability to work flexible hours from 8 am to 9 pm
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 300 lbs. with assistance
- Two years of college or management experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High energy and ability to multitask effectively
- Proper telephone etiquette

- Proficient computer skills
