Customer Accounts Advisor

Hiring Range Minimum to Maximum: $14.25 - $15.00

This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron's Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers both over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

The Work

  • Maintain and update customer accounts, including recording all payment appointments in the store system.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
  • Promote the benefits of timely lease renewal payments.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Support merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Clean and certify returned merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets daily.
  • Load, secure, and protect product in company vehicles.
  • Operate company vehicles safely.
  • Assist the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any additional duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver's license and meet the company's Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory MVR; in Canada, at least 18 years old.
  • Must meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Flexible schedule, including hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 300 lbs with a dolly.
  • Preferred: two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.

  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient computer skills.
