Customer Accounts Advisor

Hiring Range Minimum to Maximum: $15.50 - $16.25

This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron’s Customer Account Advisors serve as coaches to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Account Advisor, you will build relationships with customers over the phone and face-to-face to help bring them closer to ownership.

The Work
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, including documenting all payment appointments.
  • Contact customers who have not renewed their lease agreements via home visits and phone calls.
  • Promote the benefits of timely lease agreement renewal payments.
  • Assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals.
  • Help with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed.
  • Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center.
  • Complete weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets.
  • Load, secure, and protect products in company vehicles.
  • Operate company vehicles safely.
  • Support the Sales Team as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old in the U.S. with a valid driver’s license and meet the Driver Qualification Policy; at least 18 in Canada.
  • Meet DOT certification requirements in applicable states.
  • Availability to work hours from 8 am to 9 pm.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
  • Preferred: Two years of retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic and capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
