Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) is seeking a customer service/order entry professional in Michigan. You will enter and process orders, review pricing and respond to customer inquiries, coordinating with Sales and Production teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process sales orders accurately and timely.
• Review pricing to align with quotes and pricing policies.
• Address, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production Control, Shipping, and Materials to meet customer needs.
• Escalate issues to appropriate resources when needed.
• Identify issues early and propose solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects in Production Control and Sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Enters and processes sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reviews pricing on orders to ensure alignment with quotes and pricing policies.
• Receives, addresses, resolves, and responds to customer complaints, inquiries, and interactions in a timely manner.
• Coordinates with Sales team, as well as Production Control, Shipping, and Materials to ensure customer needs and requirements are met.
• Escalates issues to appropriate resource as needed.
• Preemptively identifies issues and suggests ways to solve.
• Contributes to continuous improvement projects within Production Control and Sales.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
