Job summary

Bennett Die and Tool is seeking a Customer Account & Program Manager to prepare accurate and competitive quotations for CNC machining, fabrication, and value-added services. You will translate customer requirements into profitable manufacturing plans and coordinate with production to meet schedules.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years estimating or manufacturing experience in a CNC machine shop.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong understanding of milling, turning, grinding and secondary operations.
  • Experience estimating materials, outside processing, and manufacturing labor.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems preferred.
  • Experience with defense or aerospace manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer RFQs, drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements.
  • Develop accurate labor, material, outside processing, tooling, and overhead cost estimates.
  • Determine machining processes, cycle times, setup requirements, and manufacturing methods.
  • Solicit and evaluate pricing from approved suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare professional quotations and proposals within customer deadlines.
  • Identify technical questions and communicate with customers to clarify requirements.
  • Verify customer requirements for certifications, material traceability, First Article Inspection (FAI), and special processes.

Job description

Position Summary

The Customer Account & Program Manager is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for CNC machining, fabrication, and value-added manufacturing services.

This role serves as the primary interface between customers, and production to ensure customer requirements are thoroughly reviewed and translated into profitable, achievable manufacturing plans.

Compensation range of $60-80K Annually based on experience. In addition to an excellent benefit package which includes twice annual bonus payouts, 8 paid holidays, BDnT pays for 85% of the costs of medical insurance for our employees. We also offer an excellent 401k plan and a PTO program.

  • Review customer RFQs, drawings, specifications, and purchase requirements.
