Job summary

Sage Oil Vac is seeking an Assembler – Upfit to build and outfit custom service vehicles in Amarillo, TX. The role requires reading blueprints, assembling mechanical and hydraulic systems, and ensuring quality and safety across each build.

You will work on hand and power tools, install tanks and fittings, and collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in a manufacturing environment, including PPE usage.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to inspect completed work.
• Experience with assembling vehicle upfit components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components and install tanks, hoses, fittings, and service systems as specified.
• Read and follow technical drawings and work orders to ensure accurate upfit work.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality, function, and safety; document discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and assist with troubleshooting and adjustments.
