Job summary

Bush Specialty Vehicles is seeking a skilled Custom Upfitter to join our production team in Las Vegas, NV. You will customize and assemble specialty vehicles across painting, carpentry, plumbing, metal fabrication, and auto-mechanical work, following blueprints and customer specs.

Work closely with multiple departments to ensure high-quality builds on schedule. A high school diploma and experience in one of the trades are preferred; must be able to read drawings and work safely in a warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in painting, carpentry, plumbing, metal fabrication, or auto-mechanical/electrical work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform custom vehicle and product upfitting according to specifications and production schedules.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to guide builds.
• Operate tools such as saws, drills, hammers, welders, and measuring devices.
• Paint surfaces and apply finishes; perform carpentry, plumbing, and metal work.
• Support auto-mechanical and auto-electrical installations and basic troubleshooting.
• Operate forklift safely during material handling.
• Maintain safety standards and workplace organization.
• Communicate with departments to meet production goals.
