Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is highly desirable.
• Proven Welder experience with MIG welding techniques.
• Strong welding skills with precision and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of different metals and their welding procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting welding-related issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks, including MIG and other processes, following drawings and project specs.
• Fabricate and assemble components such as tanks, frames, brackets, and metal structures.
• Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity according to standards.
• Safely handle welding materials, gases, and equipment; follow safety guidelines.
• Maintain and report on welding equipment status and needed repairs.
• Keep welding area clean and organized; assist teammates as needed.
• Operate heavy equipment like cranes and forklifts when required.
• Record welding activities, materials used, and process modifications.
