New Balance, headquartered in Boston, MA, seeks an experienced Team Sports Custom Uniform Apparel Developer to lead the creation and commercialization of customized team uniforms. You will drive product lifecycle from concept to production, defining customization specs and ensuring clear garment details with design, product management, and vendor partners.

You will manage BOM readiness, coordinate artwork and placement, and collaborate with design, digital, and product teams to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Product Development, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–7+ years of apparel product development or operations experience in sportswear or team sports products.
• Experience managing custom apparel programs and embellishment processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products, silhouettes, and customization options that align with market trends and athlete performance needs.
• Owner of Buy Readiness through BOM maintenance and finalization.
• Coordinate the product creation cycle from initial concept through to commercialization and production for assigned styles to lead to on time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, sustainability, performance, and profitability goals.
• Coordinate team-specific customization requirements, including logos, numbers, names, embroidery, screen printing, heat transfers, sublimation, and embellishments.
• Ensure artwork placement, branding standards, and customization requirements are accurately executed.
• Collaborate with Design, Digital, and Product Management teams to achieve desired aesthetic and performance outcomes.
