Job summary
The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Custom Sewing Operator to support Disneyland Resort show quality. You will sew a variety of fabrics and products, set tension, and prepare items for installation with proper tagging and storage.
You’ll collaborate with vendors, cast members, and Disney management to uphold standards. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of professional experience, completed trade or formal training, and can work 1st–3rd shifts across all days, including holidays, in a 24/7
Qualifications
- Experience with industrial sewing equipment and fabrics of varying weights.
- Ability to cut and mark patterns and follow cutter directions.
- Strong communication with vendors, cast members, and Disney management.
- Full availability across all shifts and holidays as required.
- Completed trade or formal training in sewing or related field.
- 5+ years in this trade.
Responsibilities
- Sew upholstery, draperies, awnings, umbrellas, weather covers, flags, pennants, and banners.
- Set correct tension and choose the proper thread for the product being sewn.
- Prepare products for installation, including tagging and storage for pickup.
