Job summary

The Building Center, Inc. in Pineville, NC is seeking a Millwork Specialist to craft custom millwork such as cabinets, doors, corbels, and related timber products. You will read shop drawings, operate woodworking equipment, and ensure quality finishes while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

The role requires hands-on carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate in a team environment at our Pineville location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in custom woodworking fabrication preferred.
• Experience with cabinets, doors, shutters, timber products preferred.
• Experience with both hand tools and industrial woodworking machinery.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans.
• Set up and operate woodworking machines such as table saws, jointers, planers, shapers, and sanders.
• Assemble millwork components according to specification and quality standards.
• Inspect materials and final products to ensure accuracy and finish quality.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Performs other duties, as assigned
