Job summary

HPM Building Supply in Keaau, Hawaii, is hiring a full-time Custom Metal Roofing (CMR) Roll Former Operator Specialist. The role involves handling 8,000-pound metal coils and guiding orders from unloading to packing, including dies changes and inventory updates.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:30 pm, with some overtime. Eligible candidates may expect robust benefits and the opportunity to contribute to a 100% employee-owned company with a long history in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience helpful but not required.
• Forklift certification, or ability to be forklift certified.
• Must be a team player who can learn quickly.
• Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Unload containers and prepare metal coils for processing.
• Operate the roll former to form metal according to order specifications.
• Strap orders and assist with dies changes on the machine.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with restocking as needed.
