Job summary

HPM Hawaii in Keaau, Hawaii is hiring a full-time Custom Metal Roofing (CMR) Roll Former Operator Specialist. The Roll Former Operator handles 8,000-pound metal coils from unloading to inventory, operating the roll former, and preparing orders for shipment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Forklift certification, or ability to be forklift certified.
• Must be a team player who can learn quickly.
• Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Unload containers and prepare metal coils for processing.
• Operate stationary roll former to shape metal.

Job description

The expected pay range for a Custom Metal Roofing Roll Former Operator Specialist in Keaau is $18.50 - $22.10 per hour.

HPM Building Supply in Keaau, Hawaii, is seeking to hire a full-time Custom Metal Roofing (CMR) Roll Former Operator Specialist. The Roll Former Operator provides our customers with efficient, quality metal roofing products to meet their diverse needs. Working with 8,000-pound metal coils, the Roll Former Operator completes roofing orders from start to finish: from unloading the container, to rolling the metal on our stationary roll former, to strapping the order, to changing the dies on the machine, to helping keep accurate inventory records.

The typical schedule for the Custom Metal Roofing (CMR) Roll Former Operator Specialist is Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm. Some overtime as needed.
