Job summary

HPM Hawaii in Keaau, Hawaii is hiring a full-time Custom Metal Roofing (CMR) Roll Former Operator Specialist. The Roll Former Operator handles 8,000-pound metal coils from unloading to inventory, operating the roll former, and preparing orders for shipment.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 6:30 am–3:30 pm with some overtime. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k)/ESOP, PTO, and more, with a strong employee-owned culture at HPM Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
• Forklift certification, or ability to be forklift certified.
• Must be a team player who can learn quickly.
• Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Unload containers and prepare metal coils for processing.
• Operate stationary roll former to shape metal.
• Strap orders for shipment.
• Change dies on the machine.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
