Job Title: Meat Cutter

Pay: $22.00/Hour, Benefits on Day 1!

Location: West Mifflin, PA

Join US Foods as a Meat Cutter and prepare high-quality cuts of meats according to customer specifications, adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Trim and customize portions of meat products using knives, band saws, or other equipment.
2. Count, stack, and label portions according to customer and company specifications.
3. Set up and maintain the cutting room, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
4. Follow GMP guidelines to maintain sanitary conditions.
5. Work continually in a refrigerated environment (35°F-45°F).
6. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a meat cutter, skilled in using knives.
• Experience with band saws, laser portion machinery, or similar equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of poultry, beef, lamb, and pork products, USDA grades, and NAMA guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in refrigerated conditions.

Additional Information:

Compensation depends on experience and skills, with an expected base rate between $21.00-$22.00/hour.
