New Energy Works is seeking an experiencedcarpenter to join our team in Farmington, NY where we design, fabricate, and install high-performance panelized wall, roof, and floor systems for custom homes and commercial buildings throughout the Northeast.
We're looking for someone who already knows their way around a jobsite and a woodshop—but more importantly, someone who takes pride in their work, shows initiative, and is constantly looking for ways to improve the team and the project. If you're the type of person, we'd like to talk with you!
The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, and driven to perform at a high level every day. We value attitude, initiative, and accountability as much as technical skill.
We typically work four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays often available for overtime.
This position includes both shop fabrication and field installation work. Most projects are located within a 4–6-hour drive radius of Farmington, NY, so availability to travel is preferred. We do offer a generous travel compensation incentive for out-of-town installation work.
