Job summary

Michaels in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking a Store Associate to help customers with framing solutions and stock in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will build relationships with customers, process framing orders, and support Omni channel operations while maintaining a well-merchandised store. Previous retail experience is a plus, and you’ll work nights, weekends and early mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers and create custom framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find products.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
