Job summary

The Michaels in La Crosse, WI is seeking a team member to help customers shop, create custom framing solutions, and maintain a well-merchandised store. You will assist with framing orders, operate a cash register, and contribute to a safe, efficient shopping environment in a busy retail setting.

You’ll work as part of a team in a public store, with early mornings, nights and weekends required. Prior retail experience is helpful and a passion for helping customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills needed.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance to laws and requirements.
• Deliver sales and production results through personalized framing solutions.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with customers positively and professionally.
