ManpowerGroup is seeking a Custom Assembly Technician in Indianapolis, IN to join a production team specializing in custom and one-off builds. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, reading technical drawings, and basic CAD to support quality and safety in a collaborative shop.

Responsibilities include assembling fluid and gas systems, fabricating tubing, performing pressure and helium leak tests, and following precise procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and maintain tight tolerances.
• Ability to interpret 2D technical prints and basic 3D CAD models.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a collaborative shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom fluid and gas systems using mechanical judgment and fabrication skills.
• Read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for dimensions and assembly requirements.
• Fabricate and assemble tubing and mechanical components with common tools (wrenches, tube benders, saws).
• Perform pressure testing and helium leak testing to verify system integrity.
• Troubleshoot and adapt when components or drawings don’t align, following quality and safety procedures.
