Job summary

Georg Fischer Ltd. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Packaging and Crating Associate to build custom crates, pallets, and protective packaging for piping systems and components. You will measure products and follow packaging instructions to prepare shipments for safe transport.

The role operates Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM on-site at our Irvine facility. A high school diploma or GED and hands-on tool experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience reading basic drawings, work orders, measurements, and packaging instructions.
• Experience with hand/power tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build custom crates, boxes, pallets, skids and other shipping containers.
• Measure products and packaging materials accurately.
• Read blueprints, drawings, work orders and packaging instructions.
