Job summary

Delicious Cakes! in Addison, TX is seeking a skilled cake decorator/artist to join our team. The role focuses on fondant coverage, buttercream piping, and creating visually striking cakes for our customers.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of frosting and decorating experience, be able to work quickly, and provide decorating samples for interview. This is a non-training position with regular hours Mon-Fri 12pm-5pm and Sat 9am-1pm; home bakers need not apply. Serious, skilled applicants only.

Qualifications

• Strong organization skills
• Acceptable verbal English communication skills, Spanish is a plus
• Excellent work ethic - be on time, abide by company policy
• Food Handler certified (Must be provided on the first day of employment)
• Minimum 2 years of frosting, icing, custom cake decorating/writing on cake experience
• Must show cake decorating images for interview

Responsibilities

• Decorate fun and creative custom cake.
• Fondant related cake making for birthday cakes, etc
• Excellent Buttercream piping cursive writing, regular, small to large monogram style piping.
• Different russian tip piping for flower cakes is plus
• Vintage cake design experience plus.
• Be a part of the team member with cleaning & organizing the kitchen area
• Working together with the FOH/BOH team, and the shop management team to deliver outstanding finished products as scheduled.
• Be accountable, responsible, and on time for all scheduled shifts

Delicious Cakes! in Addison, TX is looking for cake decorator to join our team.

We are located at 14819 Inwood Rd. Addison, TX 75001

Work hours:

Mon - Friday : 12pm - 5pm

Saturday - 9am - 1pm

We are looking for custom cake decorators and custom cake artists.

Please note: This is not a training position. Serious, skilled applicants only, please!

***No Home - Bakers******Only decorators with commercial bakery experience***

This means that you know how to cover a cake in fondant as well as ice a perfectly smooth buttercream cake with attention to clean lines and precision work. Be able to work fast to product quantity/quality cakes. We need you to be passionate about cake decorating and be able to produce work as you see on our website
