Job summary

Closet Factory Installer – Minneapolis, MN is a full-time opportunity with commission-based pay for on-site installation of custom cabinetry and home organization systems. The role includes extensive product training, tools, and ongoing support from the local shop team.

Candidates bring cabinet installation or finish carpentry experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy panels. You’ll work throughout the Minneapolis area on quality installations and customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of cabinet installation or finish carpentry experience.
• 32mm System knowledge preferred.
• Clean driving record with valid license.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy panels safely.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and perform on-site installations of custom cabinetry and organization systems.
• Install pre-cut wood and melamine components using the 32mm cabinet system.
• Use hand and power tools for on-site adjustments, trimming, and finishing.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure a professional presence in clients' homes.
• Communicate clearly with clients to ensure satisfaction at project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport materials and perform precise, high-quality on-site installations of custom cabinetry and home organization systems.
• Install pre-cut wood and melamine components efficiently using the 32mm cabinet system.
• Use hand and power tools to complete on-site adjustments, scribing, trim work, and finishing details as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area while working in clients’ homes.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with clients to ensure a positive experience and complete satisfaction at project completion.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of cabinet installation, finish carpentry, woodworking, or related hands-on trade experience.
• 32mm System Knowledge: Familiarity with 32mm cabinet construction, assembly methods, and hardware installation preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with standard hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy panels, tools, and materials safely.
