Job summary

Closet Factory is seeking a skilled Installer to join our Minneapolis-based team, installing custom cabinetry and home organization systems in clients' homes. You will transport materials, install pre-cut components, and complete precise fit and finish work, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time role with commission-based pay, plus comprehensive training and ongoing support from the local shop team to help you excel in a fast-paced residential environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in cabinet installation, finish carpentry, woodworking, or related hands-on trade.
• Familiarity with 32mm cabinet construction, assembly methods and hardware installation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with standard hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality workmanship and customer service.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy panels and materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and perform on-site installations of custom cabinetry and home organization systems.
• Install pre-cut wood and melamine components using the 32mm system.
• Use hand and power tools for on-site adjustments and finishing details.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area in clients’ homes.
• Communicate clearly with clients to ensure a positive experience and satisfaction at project completion.

Job Requirements
