Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Custom Machine Builder or similar.
• Expert ability to read and interpret complex multi-page mechanical prints and schematics.
• High proficiency with precision metrology tools and measurement techniques.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client facilities for startup/installation.
• US work authorization and residency within driving distance of Greater Milwaukee / Waukesha County.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom, high-value automated manufacturing equipment and robotic cells from ground up.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, prints, and schematics to determine tolerances and layouts.
• Perform precision alignment and fitting using dial indicators, micrometers, calipers.
• Route electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic lines on active machine frames.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve fit deviations and test subsystems.
• Prep cells for shipment and provide field support for commissioning as needed.
