Job summary

Southern FS, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Custom Applicator to apply chemicals, fertilizers, and anhydrous ammonia, while maintaining equipment and ensuring safe, efficient operations at our locations.

Responsibilities include handling energy products deliveries, LP setups, and supporting crop, energy, and grain operations. Must have a high school diploma/GED, strong communication, and a CDL with endorsements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and basic mathematical abilities.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to safety and efficiency.
• Class A CDL with endorsements (ATX).
• Pesticide license as required by management.

Responsibilities

• Agronomy Custom Application: Apply chemicals, liquid and dry fertilizers, and anhydrous ammonia.
• Maintain application equipment in excellent condition and adhere to high standards.
• Minimize application complaints and provide courteous customer service.
• Delivery of Energy Products: Deliver LP gas, liquid fuels, and oil products.
• Perform LP tank setups and fuel pump maintenance.
• Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Keep facilities and equipment clean, safe, and in optimal working condition.
• Prepare equipment for seasonal demands.
• Customer and Location Support: Assist with crop, energy, structures, and grain operations.
• Support inventory management, product delivery, and sales efforts.
