Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking an Applicator to prepare and apply custom agronomy products on customers' fields, including dry and liquid fertilizer and crop protectants. You will operate and maintain equipment at customer sites, follow safety rules, and ensure proper application patterns.

Role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class A CDL may be required by location, and ability to work extended hours outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Able to safely operate motor vehicles.

• Ability to learn precision ag software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply dry fertilizer and crop protectants to customers' fields.
• Transfer products and operate bulk spreading vehicles.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Adhere to safety, PPE and regulations.
• Assist with inventory and warehouse activities.
• Work outdoors, sometimes in adverse weather.
