Job summary

Clean-Tech Company is seeking a custodian for evening shifts in Maryland Heights, MO. You’ll perform cleaning duties across facilities, including floors, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities include heavy cleaning tasks, adherence to schedules, and following supervision directions. A background check and related verifications are required; physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Background check, education verification, employment verification and fingerprint background are required.
• Custodians perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the facility in daily upkeep.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• High school degree preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum and clean restrooms and locker rooms.
• Remove trash, recycle and clean windows; handle basic facility upkeep.
• Perform duties as directed by custodial supervisor to maintain cleanliness.
• Work Monday through Friday with evening shifts as specified.

Custodians are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas. Custodians perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the facilityEssential FunctionsSweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, extracting carpet, removing trash, recycling, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms, washing windows, removal or snow and ice, cleaning of desks/walls/furniture/ doors/ entry glass/ interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/ whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures, and any other duties as directed by custodial supervisor or his/her designated representative.Job RequirementsExcellent work historyTeam focused approach requiring ability to work with others and take directionPhysically demanding fast-paced environment requiring ability to work efficiently with attention to detailReliable transportationBackground check requiredMinimum QualificationsEducation: High school degree preferred, but not required.Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.Physical and Working ConditionsAbility to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company.Ability to work with various temperatures extreme from hot to cold.
