Job summary

Verde Clean is seeking a dependable Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming facilities. The role focuses on cleaning, restocking, floor care, safety, and friendly customer service for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & maintenance: sweep, mop, vacuum floors and wipe surfaces, including restrooms.
• Restocking supplies: keep restrooms stocked with toilet paper, soap and towels; monitor dispensers.
• Floor care: sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & security: identify hazards and report to supervisor; maintain a safe environment.
• Customer service: provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff and visitors.

Position Details

• Schedule: Fri-Sun 6:00am-6:30pm OR 6:00pm-6:30am
• Pay: $16.50/hour

What You'll Do:

As a Custodian, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone. Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters. You'll also clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Restocking Supplies: Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & Security: Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor. Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.

We're seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience: At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols. Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be comfortable using basic cleaning tools and equipment.
