Job summary

Verde Clean is hiring a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. The role is full-time with a Friday–Tuesday night schedule, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, and a pay rate of $18/hour.

You will perform cleaning, restocking, floor care, safety checks, and customer-facing support to staff and visitors. The ideal candidate has at least one year of janitorial experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

• Experience in janitorial or cleaning work (minimum 1 year)
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Skills: ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols
• Physical: ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform cleaning tasks

Position Details

• Schedule: Friday-Tuesday, 6 pm - 2:30 am (Full-Time)
• Pay: $18/hour

What You'll Do

As a Custodian, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone. Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and counters. You'll also clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Restocking Supplies: Keep restrooms stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Ensure dispensers are filled and monitor supplies across the facility.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Safety & Security: Identify safety hazards and report them to the supervisor. Maintain a secure and safe environment for building occupants.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous, helpful assistance to staff, visitors, and fellow team members, creating a positive and welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: At least one year of janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Ability to use cleaning equipment and knowledge of safety protocols. Must be able to work independently and interact courteously with others.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be comfortable using basic cleaning tools and equipment.
