Job summary

Beacon Group seeks a reliable and detail-oriented custodian for a part-time position in Tucson. Work is Monday through Friday, late afternoon to evening, supporting a nonprofit that serves people with disabilities. The role emphasizes cleaning, safety, and adherence to site policies.

Preference is given to individuals with a documented disability. Transportation to and from work is required; background and drug screens may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to training as assigned by Custodial Account Manager, Custodial Lead, or designated trainer.
• Adhere to all Beacon Group policies and procedures, including safety, security, and customer site policies.
• Ensure assigned spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash/recycle, organizing furniture, and dusting surfaces.
• Sweep and mop hard surface floors, vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals, and other restroom/shower fixtures.
• Stock consumable supplies in break areas and restrooms or other areas as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain accountability for assigned facility keys, badges, or other access media.
• Report stolen or misplaced access media to leadership immediately.
• Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate with building tenants and custodial leadership.

Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION

We seek a reliable and detail-oriented person to be part of our custodial team. This is a Part time position working Monday-Friday late afternoon - evening.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to training as assigned by Custodial Account Manager, Custodial Lead, or designated trainer. Training may be written, oral, computer based, or on the job training.
• Adhere to all Beacon Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, security, and customer site policies.
