Job summary

Beacon Group in Benson, AZ is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented custodian to join our team. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday in the late afternoon and evening, supporting our facilities and ensuring clean, safe spaces for clients and staff.

You will follow training, use proper cleaning procedures, manage supplies, and report issues to leadership. Preference given to individuals with a documented disability; Beacon offers competitive wages, a 401(k) with company match, and paid

Responsibilities

• Prepare spaces for the next day by taking out trash, organizing furniture, and dusting.
• Sweep, mop floors; vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals, and restrooms.
• Stock consumables in break areas and restrooms.
• Maintain keys, badges, or access media and report issues.

BACKGROUND: Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION: We seek a reliable and detail-oriented person to be part of our custodial team. This is a Part time position working Monday-Friday late afternoon - evening.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to training as assigned by Custodial Account Manager, Custodial Lead, or designated trainer. Training may be written, oral, computer based, or on the job training.
• Adhere to all Beacon Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety, security, and customer site policies.
• Ensure assigned spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash/recycle, organizing furniture, & dusting surfaces.
• Sweep / mop hard surface floors, vacuum carpeted areas.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, urinals, and other restroom/shower fixtures.
• Stock consumable supplies in break areas and restrooms or other areas as assigned by leadership.
• Maintain accountability for assigned facility keys, badges, or other access media. Report stolen or misplaced access media to leadership immediately.
• Ability to act in a professional manner and communicate with building tenants and custodial leadership.
• Must be able to pass any background/drug screens.
• Candidate must have own transportation to/from work.
