Position Overview

This is a Full Time Custodian Supervisor 2 position (Night Shift) at UW Bothell. Responsibilities include interviewing and selecting applicants, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, supervising staff, and administrative duties such as budgeting for supplies and staffing.

The Custodian Supervisor 2 Nights oversees the Custodian Supervisor 1 Nights and, in their absence, supervises all operations and staff reporting to them.

Responsibilities

• Determine staffing needs and oversee activities.
• Recommend purchases and project needs.
• Maintain custodial standards and compliance.
• Oversee special cleaning projects and safety issues.
• Train new staff and manage training compliance.
• Develop reports on workloads, performance, and service requirements.
• Assist in budget control and departmental coordination.

Minimum Requirements

• Three years in custodial or maintenance work, including two years as a Custodian Supervisor I or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within six months.

Desired Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience with email, electronic calendaring, and work order systems.
