Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a full-time Site Supervisor in Hawaii to oversee daily operations at the Ewa Beach location. You will lead a custodial team, ensure cleanliness of common areas, and coordinate with tenants and management.

The role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and hands-on maintenance tasks including painting and minor repairs. The position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM with an $18.00 hourly wage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at the designated location
• Supervise custodial team and ensure cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, parking lots and walkways
• Restock supplies and manage waste disposal
• Handle routine maintenance tasks (painting, leaf blowing, pressure washing, etc.)
• Operate tools and vehicles as needed (leaf blower, golf cart)
• Report safety or building issues and communicate with tenants and management

The role involves responding to emails and phone calls, leading, and supervising a custodial team with strong organizational and communication skills. Key duties include maintaining cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, parking lots, and walkways, restocking supplies, and managing waste disposal. The supervisor will also handle routine maintenance tasks, operate tools like a leaf blower, drive a golf cart, painting, and use a ladder for various tasks. Effective use of a smartphone for uploading information, communicating, and reporting is essential. Adherence to safety procedures and reporting any safety or building issues is crucial. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

-Schedule:Monday to Thursday 5:30 AM-3:00 PM (subjective to emergencies and mandatory meetings)

-Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00

-Skills/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English isrequired.

Strong public relations and communication skills, along with the physical capability to perform manual labor to handle tasks requiring strength, such as lifting, carrying heavy objects, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently, carrying at least 25 lbs., reaching overhead, grasping objects, pressing, bending, kneeling, walking, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking up and down stairs, and using a ladder.
