Job summary

Servicon Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cleaner in Lynwood, CA to perform cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of assigned areas according to company and client standards. You will interact with clients as needed and support a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include trash removal, floor care, dusting, surface cleaning, and general janitorial tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma (or GED) and custodial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred.
• Interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
