Cunningham Children’s Home is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe school environment at Circle Academy Rossville. The role requires cleaning throughout the building, floor care, and stocking supplies. It emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and upholding the organization’s values.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12pm - 5pm. Must have HS diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Training on cleaning equipment will be provided. Background checks and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the school building.

• Follow safety procedures and confidentiality standards.

About Us:
Cunningham Children’s Home is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where young people can learn, heal, and grow. We are seeking a dependable Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment at Circle Academy Rossville.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12pm - 5pm

Position Summary:
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the school building according to established schedules and quality standards. This role supports a positive learning environment by ensuring all areas of the building are safe, sanitized, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the school building

Complete floor care projects, including carpet extraction, buffing, and stripping/waxing

Restock and maintain cleaning supplies

Use custodial equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors, and vacuums

Follow agency safety procedures and confidentiality standards

Model Cunningham’s core values of spirituality, teamwork, integrity, and respect

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver’s license

Knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with staff

Ability to lift and carry up to 44–60 lbs., bend, stoop, climb stairs, and walk distances as required
